Volunteering with Abbotsford Restorative Justice offers a meaningful opportunity to support individuals and strengthen community through either our Restorative Mentoring or Restorative Justice programs.
At ARJAA, we have 2 volunteer positions for individuals to be involved in:
Volunteer in our Restorative Mentoring Programs are matched one-to-one with youth and serve as consistent, positive role models by spending time together, planning activities, and supporting personal growth, confidence, and connection.
Volunteers in our Restorative Justice Programs support processes that focus on repairing harm, restoring relationships, and rebuilding trust by assisting with restorative conversations and community-based resolutions.
All volunteers receive training, ongoing support, and guidance from ARJAA staff, and make a commitment of approximately six hours per month. Through both programs, volunteers play a vital role in creating opportunities for accountability, healing, and transformation at a grassroots level—one relationship at a time.
